Cookie Policy

Credinberg is designed with privacy-by-default architecture. We do not sell user data, run third-party advertising networks, or deploy cross-site tracking pixels.

Effective: September 10, 2026·

Overview & Philosophy

When you visit or interact with Credinberg (“credinberg.com” and related application portals), we believe in minimal data footprint. Unlike typical web platforms, we do not monetize user behavior or partner with commercial ad networks.

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and browser storage technologies we use, why they are strictly necessary, and how you retain control over your web browser.

Essential Cookies We Use

We exclusively deploy Strictly Necessary Cookies required to deliver core authentication and security services:

  • Session Authentication Tokens: Encrypted, HttpOnly cookies utilized to authenticate your identity when accessing your organization dashboard or recipient Passport.
  • Security & CSRF Defense: Cryptographic tokens designed to prevent cross-site request forgery attacks and maintain session validity.

Local Storage & Client State

In addition to cookies, we utilize standard HTML5 Local Storage exclusively for non-sensitive client preferences:

  • UI Preferences: Preserving workspace view toggles, sidebar collapse states, and table pagination settings.
  • Tab Synchronization: Keeping active sessions synchronized across multiple open browser tabs.

Third-Party Cookies & Tracking

Credinberg does not use third-party advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or behavioral marketing trackers (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Pixel, TikTok pixels).

When third-party verifiers view a public badge verification page (such as credinberg.com/badges/[uuid]), no persistent tracking cookies are deposited on the verifier's device.

How to Manage Cookies

Most web browsers allow you to control cookie settings through their preferences. You may configure your browser to block cookies or notify you before a cookie is stored.

Interactive Cookie Preference Center

Review, toggle, or revoke performance and functional cookie permissions at any time.

Please note that because our cookies are strictly necessary for authentication, disabling cookies entirely will prevent you from signing in to your Credinberg workspace or accessing your personal Passport.
